Seven days in Gallura:
a slow itinerary.

A week alternating sea, excursions and sweet idleness. It's the itinerary we email our guests a few days before check-in.

Sardinian coast from above

Day 1 — Arrival and settling in

Olbia airport, a few minutes by car (9 km from Porto San Paolo, 6 km from Murta Maria) and you're home. We welcome you with water, wine and Sardinian sweets. Afternoon at the village beach or in the pool (for Murta Maria), aperitif at sunset on the seafront, light dinner at Malú or Pasqualina.

Day 2 — Tavolara

The day that changes the trip. 09:30 boat from Porto San Paolo, morning at Spalmatore di Terra, lunch on the island, Mandria trail in the afternoon, return on the 17:30 boat. Dinner at home: fish from the Olbia market or pizzeria on the seafront.

Day 3 — Gallura's beaches

Morning at Cala Brandinchi (arrive by 10:00), lunch in San Teodoro, afternoon at Lu Impostu or relax at home. For families with kids, the shallow water of these beaches is a dream.

Day 4 — A day on a boat

Dinghy rental (we'll suggest contacts) or guided trip. Tavolara, Molara, Cala Spinosa, Capo Coda Cavallo: you'll see the coast as few have. Aperitif on board at sunset.

Day 5 — Costa Smeralda as a tourist

Morning at Porto Cervo harbour (browsing boutiques, fish market), lunch in Cala di Volpe or picnic at Pevero, afternoon on the beach. Aperitif at Phi Beach or on the Porto Cervo pier, then home to sleep — saving the cost of the hotel.

Day 6 — Inland and wineries

Change of scene: up towards the Limbara, easy trekking, panoramic views over the sea. Lunch in Tempio Pausania (try the gallurese soup), afternoon at a Vermentino di Gallura DOCG winery with tasting. Back home for dinner.

Day 7 — The day you needed

No agenda. Slow breakfast on the terrace, book, sea, nap. Evening market in Porto San Paolo, last gelato, last photo of Tavolara at sunset. Sardinia is rich but asks for nothing: that is its secret.
